“Is this Home?” explores the beauty and danger of belonging.

Stella Chrone, after leaving a high-control religious cult, turns to ants as teachers. In her glass-blown worlds, they move without command—building, adapting, caring through a shared intelligence instead hierarchy and manipulation. Their presence reveals a form of belonging that is fluid, responsive, and free. Through the glass, we can see them clearly, but can we see the communities that shape us with the same clarity? Are we in a our perfect home — or a glass cage?

Meanwhile, Natalie Galindo looks inwards and offers intimate portraits of her community—not of people, but of their altars. Objects tenderly arranged, carrying the weight and warmth of love, loss, memory, and our personal and collective stories. Galindo’s paintings reveals the strength of our emotional attachments, and wonders if their power transcends what we can physically see and understand?
